Azam is a PhD student at the University of Leeds, supervised by Prof Robert Richardson. He graduated with an MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2018 and returned to undertake his PhD after a year in the M&E Construction Industry. As part of Theme 3, he is currently working on the development of a novel robotic locomotion system that utilises hydrodynamic principles to navigate the water distribution networks.
