Andy is an Experimental Officer in the creation of embedded systems for small inspection robots. He is investigating ways to integrate and miniaturise the Pipebots’ on-board electronics.

Andy holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science awarded by the University of Manchester where he worked in the Robotics Group. Since 2008 Andy has worked on various robotics projects at the University of Leeds.
