Elisabeth is a post-graduate researcher looking at the soft systems around engineering interventions particularly legal and broader governance issues. She is a lawyer by background and after 20 years in private practice  returned to academia two years ago.

Whilst in practice she was a Senior Partner in a national litigation law firm and was the Technical Director of the Catastrophic Loss Division. She has always enjoyed cross-disciplinary working having engaged with a wide range of industries, individuals, insurance companies and leading experts advising on their cases and providing thought leadership on wider issues of concern.
