Rui is a Ph.D. student working towards the simultaneous localization and mapping for pipebot at the University of Sheffield, supervised by Prof Lyudmila Mihaylova. He obtained his MSc degree in the department of ACSE in 2019. As part of Theme 5, his work will focus on continuous-time trajectory estimation using Gaussian process.
