I am a PhD student in the Ultrasonics and Non-Destructive Testing (UNDT) research group at the University of Bristol. My research project falls under Theme 2 (Sensors), and is focused on developing an ultrasonic sensor system capable of inspecting the insides of buried pipe networks, and reporting on the presence of cracks, corrosion and other defects.
