Guillermo is a PhD student within Theme 3 at the University of Leeds, developing a robotic platform for the in-line inspection of oil pipelines. The purpose is to build a robot capable of swimming in a highly viscous fluid like oil. Therefore, it will be able to move through different pipeline configurations without interrupting production.
