Lyudmila Mihaylova is a Professor of signal processing and control with research experience and intereste is in the areas of autonomous systems, navigation, surveillance, and sensor networks. She has experience with a range of sensor data and image modalities, including optical, thermal, LIDAR, SAR and hyperspectral image processing. The EPSRC funded “Bayesian Tracking and Reasoning over Time (BTaRoT)” grant EP/K021516/1, carried out sequential inference in large scale interacting systems, modelling of the interactions and efficient data mining. Other related projects of her are the EU funded : ITN Marie Curie projects for training early career researchers: the Sheffield part for the TRAX: TRAcking in compleX sensor systems project (2013-2017).
