Professor Kirill Horoshenkov attended the 22nd Far East Nondestructive Testing Technology Forum FENDT (2025) in Wuhan City, China, which took place from 23rd to 26th June 2025. The forum brought together professionals from around the world, including leading researchers, engineers, scientists, industry representatives, and students.
Prof. Horoshenkov was joined by former Pipebots researchers, Dr Yicheng Yu, Dr Xudong Niu, and Dr Xiaoyu Sun, who have since secured high-profile positions in China. The 4-day event attracted over 1,000 participants, where Prof. Horoshenkov presented the Pipebots project to a highly interested audience.
During his time in China, Prof. Horoshenkov also visited the Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, where he introduced Pipebots to their team, who engaged enthusiastically and asked many questions about the Pipebots technology.
